Hello all

The Erindale garden is participating in the “Seed Library” project organised by ACT Seed Savers. The first “hands on” seeds savers workshop was held in February and we are now following up with a Spring workshop. Arian and the team from Canberra Seed Savers will conduct the workshop. It is a free event.

The Erindale garden community would like to extend an invitation to attend the event to COGS members and friends.

The seed savers workshop will be on:
Saturday, 12 September, 10am -12 pm, Erindale Neighbourhood Community Hall, 1 Comrie Street (located just near the Erindale garden).

“A fun, hands on workshop all about seeds! Learn all about the wonderful, magical world of seeds and how to grow from seed, and save seeds from your herb and veggie crops. This two hour workshop will give you the confidence to prepare for and start seed saving this season, as well as lots of info you need to confidently grow from seed. The workshop will include lots of opportunity to ask questions and share challenges and solutions.
Bring your own gloves/ mask if wanted. Seeds and other materials provided.”

Warmly, Didi
